Kainos Tropical is run by our family with a heart to serve, uplift and renewal. Kainos is a greek word meaning “new” and it reflects our desire to offer a place where guests can rest, recharge, and experience a sense of peace.

Our story began in Haïti with a passion for helping and empowering communities, creating opportunities, and supporting local families. Our mission is to contribute positively to the regions where we serve, through job creation, professional reintegration, mentorship of the younger generation and community support.

By staying at Kainos Tropical, you are not only enjoying a peaceful and welcoming environnment, you are also supporting our ongoing efforts to give back to the community.

We now run two locations :

Kainos Bed & Breakfast in Port-au-Prince, Haïti

Kainos Tropical in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic

Both are managed by our family, with the help of a dedicated local team who shares our commitment to hospitality and service.
