Kainos is a family-run boutique hotel nestled on a peaceful hillside in the heart of the city, offering breathtaking ocean views. With a swimming pool and the soothing sounds of nature, it’s the perfect place to rest, refresh, and reconnect.
“Kainos” means new and fresh and that’s exactly how we want you to feel after staying with us. Founded in Haiti, Kainos is a business with a vision to create meaningful jobs and empower local communities. Now also present in the Dominican Republic, we continue to share the warmth and beauty of the Caribbean.

We serve breakfast every morning, 7am – 10am. You can choose a time when you want to have your breakfast served.
Cafe
We serve coffee from 7am to 8pm. Try our coffee and have a taste of home. From espresso, caramel macchiato to chai tea latte. Look at our menu.

At Kainos we serve food from 1pm to 8pm. We serve salty/sweet crepes, chicken wings, chicken drums, nuggets with French fries / plantains / pikliz. We also have different drinks like soda and natural juice. Look at our menu.

We serve breakfast every morning from 7am to 10am. The breakfast is included.
Bedroom Comforts
We have power 24h/24h. Fan available. Towel and soap provided.
Swimming Pool
Life jacket and pool floats are available. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at you own risk.
Air conditionner
There is AC during the day when we have EDH. At night we turn on the generator from 8pm to 7am for you to have AC all night long.
Water Fountain
Indulge in a moment of tranquility and refreshment as you relax in our court, where a soothing water fountain awaits, offering a peaceful oasis for your respite.
Playground
We have a playground area and toys available for children.
Shuttle from/to the airport
We are able to pick you up and to drop you off at the airport of Port-au-prince (additionnal cost)

At Kainos, we have a Cafe & Restaurant where we serve different types of crepes, chicken nuggets, chicken wings, french fries, plantains, and pikliz.
Checkin & Checkout
Check-in time is 3pm. If you arrive earlier, we will be happy to store your luggage and welcome you in our common area until your room is ready. Check-out time is noon. If you require a late check-out, please contact us. An additional cost may be applied depending on availability.

Before 24 hours : Free cancellation
After 24 hours : 20% of total room cost will be charged.
